The Original Puffy Mattress Review CONSTRUCTIONPuffy Mattress Reviews Youtube
The Puffy Mattress features a straightforward design with two foam layers: one of thick memory foam and another of high-density poly foam. While the construction might seem a little simplistic, the manufacturer states the mixture of materials was especially chosen to bring targeted relief to the backbone.
The cover is made of polyester, which makes for a soft and elastic substance. |} Additionally, I found the cloth to be quite thin, which promotes airflow during the mattress.
Puffy Mattress Support – Puffy Mattress Reviews Youtube
A lack of a transition layer brings us straight into the primary support system of this mattress, composed of 6″ of high-density poly foam. |} Unlike the memory foam layer above it, this section includes a quick reaction to stress and may be rather business, imbuing the arrangement with its stability and contour.
Heavier sleepers should note that the lack of any kind of transition foam suggests that you are very likely to mesh mostly with the high-density poly foam since you quickly sink throughout the memory foam comfort layer. For this reason, you may believe the bed for a bit sexier than other sleepers.
Firmness And Feel
After inspecting the building of the Puffy, let’s discuss its firmness and feel. If one applies light hand pressure into the mattress, then they will find they are interacting virtually entirely with all the memory foam comfort layer. The material adheres invisibly into the body and you’ll truly feel himself sinking to the bed.
One other important aspect to consider when buying a new mattress is stress, or more notably where pressure points are going to form while lying on top of it. Especially this is important for what kind of sleeper you isbackside, or stomach predominantly.
The memory foam in the top layer works to shape to your system and fill in the area in the thoracic area. While this contributes to a great pressure relief within this place, it might make it difficult to move around and shift positions.
Scooting near the side of the mattress, there’s some decent support from the Puffy. Some mattresses fall here at the border, however, the high-density poly foam does a fantastic job of holding up weight even compacted throughout the memory foam.
For side sleepers, there is a couple fantastic pressure relief. |} Side sleepers have a tendency to opt for softer mattresses that provide cushiony support to the shoulders and hips, frequent problem areas for those who doze in their hands.
Stomach — Though the thick memory foam comfort layer is a large win for side sleepers, it’s a tiny mixed bag for stomach sleepers who generally opt for heftier constructions that keep the spine in a much alignment. |} Which could cause you to feel that their buttocks sinking out of line with the shoulders, which might cause some distress in this position.
Next up, have a peek in the Puffy’s motion transfer, or the amount of disturbance detectable from 1 side of the mattress into the other. An important test for everybody, but particularly for those who sleep with a partner as it will tell you how distressed you will be by their night moves.
There are in fact quite interesting motion transfer results. You’ll notice a little spike in initial movement round the drops which quickly dissipates, which needs to attribute to the thick memory foam comfort layer. This substance is excellent at absorbing and dampening motion, which makes it you’re not likely to be overly bothered by your mattress mate’s turning and tossing in the night.
When buying a new mattress, many people want to know if they will feel as though they’re sinking”to” the mattress or laying”on top” of it.
This mattress is on the softer side so there is a great amount of sinkage. It’s very likely to sink in deeply throughout the foam layers in this particular mattress, leading to a stuck-in-the-bed kind feel which could make it a bit hard to change rankings.

Pros And Cons
Now that we’ve taken a closer look in the Puffy mattress, I Want to highlight a few of its best pros and cons:
First and foremost, I would say this mattress can make an excellent choice for side sleepers as the thick comfort layer works to relieve strain in the buttocks and shoulders.
I’d also note that the Puffy evokes a classic memory foam texture, so could be good for anybody with a penchant for your material.
And lastly, this is just 1 soft mattress, so could do wonders for anybody looking for a gentle, soothing arrangement.
Though the memory foam is a considerable selling point of the mattress, it will make things somewhat embarrassing for strict stomach sleepers who may find that it sends their buttocks from working with their shoulders.
It also results in a construction that doesn’t have really much bounce, which could be a detractor for individuals needing buoyant support.
